As a proud Costa Rican, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of soccer in our society. It transcends social barriers, bringing together people from all walks of life. However, I also recognize that not everyone has equal access to this beloved sport. During my visit to the Ngäbe territory of Coto Brus, I was deeply moved by the passion and talent of the indigenous children who played soccer with makeshift equipment on dirt fields. Despite their lack of resources, they displayed incredible skill and determination.

Inspired by their resilience, I founded Soccer for All, an initiative dedicated to promoting the inclusion of indigenous children in national soccer. Every child, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to pursue their passion for soccer and make the most out of its benefits. Through Soccer for All, we aim to raise awareness and advocate for equal access to resources, such as proper equipment and transportation, so that indigenous children can compete on a level playing field.

Our goal is not just to provide soccer opportunities, but to empower these children and affirm their identity as Costa Ricans deserving of the same opportunities as their peers. Together, let's ensure that soccer truly becomes a sport for all in Costa Rica. Join us in making a difference and championing inclusion through Soccer for All.
